tHE 3rd BURNING BLOKE

Once a year the most awesome blokes come together in the Stanthorpe bush, unshackle our civility, and let loose with activities only the boys understand. We’ve been cooped up all year long, surviving in the modern society, and we’ve had enough. Come join us for 3 days of machismo, bravado, and blokes-man-ship, this may day long weekend.

🔥 The wicker man 🐦‍🔥

We will be creating a 20 foot wooden man once again. Bring your personal gripes, jot them down and put them in the bloke’s head. We will ritualistically let them go in a massive bonfire. Glenn; don’t forget the cowhide drum for the ceremony. This will be taking place on the Sunday night, you will NOT want to miss this.

🚗 rALLY racing🚙

We’re getting the Datsun up and running. Slade; no setting it on fire. Cory; no shooting this one. If you want to take your own car or dirt bike around the track feel free to do so. If you trust your mate’s driving, you can take Nate’s Navara ute around the track, with pole position in the tray. Your driving will be at your own risk!

🔫 shooting 🔫

We'll be shooting target and skeet shooting. Safety will come first, as in every aspect of the event. Experienced and licensed hands will be overseeing all aspects. Nate will be making aluminium targets again, and we'll be awarding a trophy to the best marksman. Like before, we'll be skeet shooting so take aim and ready your shoulder for the kick!

🥵 Sauna & IceBath 🥶

We’ve perfected the art of the redneck sauna & icebath, don’t let that secret out. Get your hormesis started, and release your inner Wim Hof iceman. Go from searing heat to freezing cold and learn the mental fortitude. We will also be running meditation sessions, this will interest those who wish to find inner peace without the temperature shocks.

🚿 Camp in Comfort ⛺

We’ve got a hot shower, electricity, rainwater & a toilet in the shed. We’d still recommend bringing a battery bank, not that you’ll be stuck to your phone for long, even though there’s 4G service out there. We have plenty of camping space, anything from a swag to a camper trailer will fit right in.

🍔 Delicious Food 🍔

Re-energise with all you can eat main meals, from Saturday lunch through to Monday breakfast. We’ll be providing the classic pulled pork & spag-bol for dinners. Bacon, Eggs & Cereal for breakfasts, and BBQs for lunch. If you have any dietary requirements, kindly fuck yourself… That, or let us know and we will kindly accommodate you <3.

Escape the rat race and unwind with the most unruly crew of misfits this side of the Great Dividing Range. At the end of the weekend, we’ll be awarding who did what the best, during the closing olympic ceremony. Medals will be awarded to the best (and worst) in their respective fields.
